Phil Gruber (Singapore Independent Filmmakers Collective www.meetup.com/SingIndeFilm) and Jonathan Chow (Spark Metric Productions) have the singular honour and privilege to bring to Singapore a true icon in the world of independent cinema, the legendary Lloyd Kaufman!
Lloyd will be conducting a very special 2-Day Filmmaking Masterclass, at LaSalle College of the Arts from December14th -15th! Lloyd is the co-founder of Troma, the longest running and most successful independent film company in history! Lloyd has either written, and/or produced and directed over 100 films, has literally hundreds of film credits and distributes hundreds of films the world over!
He has been an inspiration to the like of Peter Jackson, Oliver Stone and many others. Any modern-day filmmaker, especially in the genres of horror/comedy, macabre suspense and superhero owe a huge debt of gratitude to Lloyd!

Among today's stars whose early work can be found in Lloyd's film include Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Costner, Fergie, Samuel L. Jackson and many more!

Accompanying Lloyd will be his wife Patti, who just happens to be the New York State Film Commissioner! Talk about a bonus!
